Google Ads Improved Keyword Recommendations

Google Ads has updated optimization scores by improving the relevancy and quality of keyword recommendations.

Future Of Google Ads Keyword Recommendations

Moving forward, the new keyword planner will only suggest recommended keywords if they’re estimated to drive additional traffic beyond existing keywords. Additionally, these new keyword recommendations will now include broad match modifiers.

Google’s statement on the benefits of these new keyword recommendations:

“Recommendations and optimization score help you prioritize your most impactful opportunities to improve account performance. In fact, advertisers who increased their account-level optimization score by 10 points saw a 10% increase in conversions on average.”
